Writing Tips for Personal Narratives

It's your story. Write bravely and boldly. Include vivid details. The more personal, the more powerful.

List six significant events you've experienced. Choose one to write about.

Have some kind of change or transformation occur.

All you need is a notebook and pen. Jot down ideas as they come to you.

File all photos, documents, notes, etc. together in a computer file or accordion style file folder.
